About Us

Seed Academy/Harvest Preparatory School (SAHP) started in the home of Eric and Ella Mahmoud and has grown into a thriving school, serving over 475 children from pre-school to sixth grade. It is the only accredited full-time, African-centered pre-school and elementary school in the state of Minnesota.

Seed Academy: Seed Academy was founded in 1985 as a daycare for infants and toddlers. Today, it is a full-day licensed pre-school program for children ages 33 months to 5 years. Seed Academy serves approximately 150 children on two campuses.

Harvest Preparatory School: Since its inception in 1992, Harvest Preparatory's enrollment has increased from 24 to over 325 students in grades kindergarten through sixth grade. It is located in its own facility with a newly built gymnasium and classroom.
